Every time someone proposes literally anything to help regular people — healthcare, housing, food — here come the politicians clutching their pearls, gasping,

“But how will we pay for it?!”

Meanwhile…

The U.S. military? Oh, it’s casually burning through $840 billion a year.

That’s BILLION with a "B."

To put it in perspective:

🔹 A 1% cut to the military budget? That alone could end homelessness in America.

🔹 A 3% cut? Boom — end hunger across the country.

But no, sorry, “there’s just no room in the budget.”

Oh, and those shiny B2 bombers we used to casually bomb Iran?

Yeah, those things cost $2.1 billion EACH.

Translation: We could nearly wipe out homelessness by… not bombing Iran one weekend.

It’s wild how the government has infinite cash for war, but can’t seem to find pocket change for schools, housing, or literally keeping people alive.
