America’s Political System Is Broken—And Congress Ain’t Fixing It

Do you think our political system is broken? Yeah, me too.

The founding fathers didn’t design it to work like this. Corruption runs deep, incentives are backward, and the two-party system is a joke.

Why Is It So Bad?

Congress isn’t working for the people. Most politicians don’t care about you; they care about getting reelected.

Two parties, really? Why does a country of 330 million people have to choose between two options? The binary system is designed to keep outsiders out.

Gerrymandering is legalized corruption. Politicians redraw district lines to rig elections in their favor.

No term limits = lifetime politicians. They don’t want to change the system, because the system benefits them.

Bob Menendez just got caught with gold bars in his closet, and we all know he’s not the only corrupt one. Most of them just hide it better.

Can Anything Be Done?

Congress won’t fix itself—because why would they? But state-level politics matter. That’s where change starts.

There’s a grassroots, non-partisan group called RepresentUs fighting for real fixes, like ranked choice voting—a system that actually lets you vote for who you want, not just who can "win."

If you’re tired of complaining and actually want to do something, look them up. Because the system isn’t broken by accident—it’s working exactly as intended
