Here’s the truth: this isn’t about undocumented immigrants in general. There are hundreds of thousands of white European visa overstays who are left alone. But if you’re brown or Black? You’re targeted.
I heard from a nursing student pulled over just for her accent. They’re hunting people based on how they look and sound.
So to the white MAGA supporters who say this isn’t about race—wake up.
And to Black folks who say, “They’re just going after Haitians”—this affects Africans too. My sister’s daughter’s best friend from Benin was stopped simply because of her skin color.
