Louisiana, It’s Time to Vote—Here’s Why It Matters More Than You Think.

We’ve got an election coming up, and while it might not seem as flashy as last month's vote, this is just as important. If you want to see any real change in Louisiana, you need to show up for every election—not just the big ones.

Why We’re in This Mess

Let’s be real: Louisiana has become deeply red because people like us—people who would vote differently—didn’t show up. We didn’t bother, and look where it got us. If we want anything to change, we have to vote every time, no matter how “small” the election seems.

What’s on the Ballot?

This time, we’re dealing with municipal elections—stuff like millage renewal and local issues. If you live in Saint George, Jefferson Parish, or Lake Charles, your blue vote is crucial.

Sample Ballots: Your ballot will look different based on your parish, so make sure you check the Go Vote app. Don’t have it yet? Download it—it’s a lifesaver.

If something on your sample ballot confuses you, comment below, and someone from your parish will help break it down.

Deadline to Register: Tomorrow!

The deadline to register for this election is April 12th—that’s tomorrow! You can do it online, right from the phone you’re using to watch this. Don’t miss it.

Why You Should Care

With State Congress back in session on Monday, big things are on the horizon. So, pay attention, get informed, and make sure your voice is heard. Follow me if you want to stay updated—and hey, I’m trying to hit 10,000 followers so I can start making playlists and organize this stuff more easily.

Let’s make sure we show up and make our votes count. Every election. Every time.
