North Carolina Republicans Are Trying to Overturn an Election—Because They Didn’t Like the Results

It’s been 85 days since the election. Three counts. Two recounts. And yet, somehow, Jefferson Griffin and the North Carolina GOP are still throwing a legal tantrum like a kid who lost a board game and flipped the table.

Let’s Get One Thing Straight:

Justice Allison Riggs won.

She won by 734 votes.

She won AGAIN in two recounts.

But instead of accepting reality, Republicans are now pulling a “We Found Extra Votes in the Couch Cushions” strategy—except they’re not finding votes, they’re trying to throw out 67,000 ballots.

Their Latest Tactic? Attacking Military Voters.

Griffin and the GOP are now targeting absentee ballots from active-duty military members and their families.

And not just any military ballots—only from six Democratic-leaning counties.

Because apparently, “supporting the troops” only applies if they vote Republican.

Oh, The Hypocrisy!

Let’s not forget:

Jefferson Griffin himself voted absentee twice. But now, suddenly, it’s a problem?

Republicans love to scream about “election integrity,” yet here they are, trying to throw out legally cast ballots from voters who followed the rules.

Trump won North Carolina, and Democrats didn’t challenge it. But a Democrat wins a state Supreme Court seat? Now it’s fraud?!

What’s Really Happening?

This isn’t about this election. This is a test run.

If they get away with overturning votes here, they’ll try it everywhere.

They don’t care about “fair elections.” They care about rigging the system in their favor.

The Bottom Line

Jefferson Griffin lost. He’s not acting like a judge—he’s acting like a sore loser with a law degree.

If Republicans truly cared about democracy, they’d concede. Instead, they’re out here cherry-picking votes like it’s a clearance sale.

North Carolina, don’t let them get away with it. If they can do it here, they’ll do it everywhere.
