Small Business Owner Learns the Hard Way: “We” Means Government Profits, Not Yours
“Hey, that thing you need to survive? It costs 145% more now. You’re welcome.”
That’s the new U.S. economic strategy in a nutshell—price hikes wrapped in patriotism, dipped in supply chain chaos, and deep-fried in gaslighting.
Small businesses are being told: Just buy American!
Except… no one makes the thing they need here.
And no, the government isn’t planning to make it either. That would be communism.
Instead, they’ve decided to “encourage” domestic production by slapping tariffs on imports and making it impossible to buy from anywhere else. The hope? That someone, someday might build a factory for your niche component before your business dies of inflation.
If you're confused, here's the economic model:
Step 1: Destroy global supply chain.
Step 2: Call it "rebuilding America."
Step 3: Blame small businesses for not having a billion-dollar stockpile ready.
And if you're worried about going out of business? Don’t worry, "we’ll" still be making money. You just misunderstood who “we” was.
Spoiler: it wasn't you.
