The Disturbing Story of Jasmine: When Due Process Is Denied
In March 2025, Jasmine, a 35-year-old entrepreneur and actress from San Diego, found herself caught in a terrifying nightmare that no American citizen should face.
One day, a government agent approached her, and she was taken into an interrogation room. Despite having no criminal record and not being charged with any crime, Jasmine’s life was upended. Her belongings were confiscated, and even her shoelaces were removed. She was told she was going to jail, but no charges, no lawyer, no judge—just a terrifying unknown.
What followed was a horrifying ordeal:
Pat-downs, shackles, and a freezing cell
No explanation, no timeline for release
A communal toilet, a metal blanket, and a cell full of strangers
And worst of all, being told she could be held for months—with no way of knowing why or how to get out.
After days of mistreatment, she was transferred 150 miles to a private prison in southern Arizona, where she was forced to sleep on cold concrete. The conditions were filthy, and she was given one spoon and one hand towel to survive. The food was so bad it made her sick.
It wasn’t until nearly two weeks later that she was released, only after enduring a nightmare of shackles, deprivation, and isolation.
This isn’t just Jasmine’s story. It’s a clear example of what happens when the right to due process is ignored. The U.S. Constitution guarantees that no one should be punished without fair legal proceedings. Yet, this system was flagrantly bypassed under the watch of Trump and his enforcer, Tom Homan, who openly disregarded constitutional rights.
If the government can decide who to punish without evidence or a trial, we no longer live in a democracy. We live in a dictatorship. And that, my friends, is what happens when executive power goes unchecked.
This isn’t about Jasmine. It’s about all of us
