Right now, all across the country, people are in the streets exercising their First Amendment rights. They’re marching. Chanting. Holding signs. Speaking truth to power.

And what are they being called?

"Rioters."

"Threats."

"Domestic extremists."

All while the same people who stormed the Capitol with zip ties, bear spray, and gallows are still being called… “patriots.”

Still being called… “peaceful protesters.”

Let’s be real: this is propaganda in motion.

This is how authoritarianism justifies violence.

→ When a group shows up with signs, they call it a riot.

→ When another group shows up with AR-15s, they call it freedom.

It’s not just hypocrisy. It’s strategy.

Because if you can convince people that a certain kind of protest is violent, you can justify any amount of state violence in response. You can crush dissent and call it “restoring order.”

It’s why MAGA politicians keep dehumanizing immigrants—because if someone isn’t seen as human, anything done to them is just “policy.”

It’s why they’re trying to spin peaceful demonstrations as violent uprisings—because once you fear someone, you stop listening to them.

And yes, this is exactly how we got that chapter of world history everyone claims we’d never repeat.

Because let’s be honest: in 2025 America, you can already see who would’ve turned Anne Frank in.

But let me say this to everyone showing up for the No Kings Protests, for justice, for democracy:

🔊 Do not become their excuse.

Don’t break. Don’t loot. Don’t hand them the footage they need to make you the villain in tomorrow’s headlines.

Stay loud. Stay proud.

But most of all—stay peaceful.

Because we are the ones defending democracy.
