Trump’s Hero Complex: Why He Can’t Bring Kilmar Brego Garcia Home

For Donald Trump, the cost of bringing Kilmar Brego Garcia home far outweighs the benefits of playing the hero. Here’s the thing: Trump has a way of creating problems out of thin air, only to swoop in later and “fix” them, basking in the glory of hero status. It’s his signature move.

So why not do the same with Kilmar Garcia? Trump could easily bring him home tomorrow and look like America's hero. He could spin it a million different ways to make himself and his followers believe he’s saved the day.

But nope. Here’s why:

The cost of doing the right thing? It’s too high.

The real problem? Trump knows that bringing Garcia home would expose his entire mass deportation plan as a colossal failure.

And even worse, it would force him to admit he made a mistake—and we all know Trump never admits mistakes.

Oh, and if Garcia were still alive and well, there’s a whole lot he could say that Trump would never want the public to hear.

At the end of the day, it’s absolutely essential for Trump that Kilmar Garcia never comes home. Because sometimes, being a hero means swallowing your pride and acknowledging that you messed up—and Trump is never going to do that.
