Where’s the Outrage for Gilmar Abrego Garcia?

Gilmar Abrego Garcia came to the U.S. legally. He followed all the rules. Did everything the right way—and yet here he is, sitting in a prison in El Salvador.

So where’s the outrage from the MAGA crowd? For years, they’ve demanded immigrants come the “right way,” and Abrego Garcia did just that. He filled out his paperwork, applied properly, worked, and lived a peaceful life as a U.S. citizen's spouse with a child here. He was contributing to society, yet he was deported and now finds himself stuck in a foreign prison.

The Trump administration and El Salvador’s president have both said there’s nothing they can do. They’ve met, discussed it, and just shrugged.

Where’s the outrage from those who preach about legal immigration? If it’s truly about people coming to this country the right way, why is Abrego Garcia being treated as less than others?

If the argument is about illegal immigration, that’s one thing—but if it’s really about something else, like racism, we’ve seen enough to know exactly what’s going on here.
