Why America Is More Conservative: A Breakdown

So, let's break down why America is so much more conservative than the rest of the world.

Right-Wing Propaganda: We've been bombarded for decades by an extremely well-funded right-wing propaganda machine that’s been drilling certain narratives into the public’s mind. Think Fox News, right-wing think tanks, and endless media cycles designed to spin everything in a conservative direction. It’s been a campaign—and it’s been successful.

Religion and Submission to Authority: Religion in America teaches a lot about submission to authority rather than encouraging critical thinking based on evidence. And when you teach people to follow, you end up with a culture where questioning authority becomes taboo, and faith-based reasoning dominates.

Racism: This is a big one. Racism in America is deeply ingrained and affects everything from politics to culture. It’s a big reason why so many people cling to conservative values—it’s about preserving the status quo.

Beyond these, America’s obsession with consumerism, lack of emotional intelligence, and education being worse than in other industrialized nations certainly add fuel to the fire. We’re constantly told to buy stuff we don’t need, feel bad about ourselves in the process, and be poorly informed about the world around us.

At the end of the day, America’s conservatism is a result of a combination of Fox News, religion, and systemic racism rotting people’s brains. It’s all about control and keeping the power where it’s always been.
